You make a good point about living with covid being living with exposure. I don’t think that’s a conversation we’ve had in Australia yet. The narrative is we get to 80% vaccinated and then we go back to “normal”, and the insinuation is that the virus magically goes away and we’re in a pre-covid normal again, but that is an outright lie which I think will end very badly for people when it’s exposed.

Love the photos and the updates, please keep them coming! It must be so frustrating dealing with all the bureaucracy (and the costs) - I guess that lies ahead for all of us.

Stunning photos, Tim. Such a beautiful village. Not that surprised about the shemozzle with getting your pass. My granddaughter studied in France 2017/ 2018 & she discovered that the French love an overly bureaucratic process for most things.

Interesting. Do you have any idea how much Covid you are living with there? Here I can get exact numbers of cases within my postcode area every week. So I can gauge risk quite well. As Sydney moves towards an opening within the next month (for the fully vaxxed), I'm aware cases will increase but not sure what it will end up like.

Still around 8000 new cases a day in France in general. Hard to find regional breakdowns but leave it with me. It’s an important point.
